Summer Rec 2025
Located at Babcock Park
Who- Ages 7-12 (under 7 must be accompanied by an adult)
What- Summer Recreation Program
Where- Babcock Park (Gazebo)
When- July 7th – August 15th
Time- 8:30AM – 12PM (students may come at anytime during our hours but once they leave, they may not return until the next day)
Please Note
Due to the construction projects scheduled over the summer we will not be able to conduct summer rec at the Dansville High School location.
We will be using Babcock park as our location.
Our Core Elements
Supervised Activities: Led by trained professionals or counselors who provide guidance and supervision for all activities.
Recreational Activities: These can range from sports like basketball, flag football, and soccer to arts and crafts, nature walks and more!
Educational Components: Learning opportunities are woven into educational games, team games, or themed activities that keep young minds engaged.
Socialization: Summer Rec. provides opportunities for children to interact with peers, make new friends, and develop social skills through group activities.
Safe Environment: Our primary goal of Summer Rec. is to provide a safe and secure environment for children to participate in activities. We will have water, first aid, and highly trained staff (that are trained in CPR/1st Aid).
Examples of Activities
Sports and Games: Organized sports like basketball, soccer, flag football, foursquare, spud, and other recreational games.
Arts and Crafts: Creative activities like painting, drawing, sculpting, and various craft projects.
Outdoor Adventures: Nature walks, hikes, and exploration of Babcock park and trails. Bike rodeo with local police department.
Themed Activities: Summer Rec. will have specific themes throughout the summer.
